Who We Are

Active Pulse Physiotherapy is a multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic in Oakville, Ontario, located near Oakville Hospital.

In these terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Active Pulse Physiotherapy. "You" refers to the patient or the person booking an appointment on the patient's behalf.

Our Services

We provide physiotherapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, bracing, orthotics, laser and shockwave therapy, and Kinesio taping.

Our team works with patients through orthopaedic rehabilitation, cancer rehabilitation, vestibular therapy, sports injury recovery, and care following motor vehicle accidents.

Each service is provided by a practitioner who is regulated in Ontario for their profession.

The information shared on our website is for general and educational purposes. It should not be used instead of advice from your doctor or an assessment by one of our practitioners.

Contacting us through the website does not create a patient relationship. A patient relationship begins once you have been assessed.

Booking Appointments

You can book appointments online, by phone, or through our contact form.

Our hours are Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays.

Insurance & Payment

We accept many extended health, motor vehicle accident, and WSIB plans. We can check your benefits before your first visit, so you have a better idea of any copayment, deductible, or coinsurance you may need to pay.

Our list of accepted providers can change, so please call us to confirm whether your provider is accepted.

Your insurance coverage is an arrangement between you and your insurer. If your insurer does not cover a service for any reason, you are responsible for the remaining balance.

If you do not have insurance or have used your available benefits, private pay plans are available. Please ask us about our current fees.

Payment is due at the time of your visit unless we have agreed otherwise.

Cancellations & Missed Appointments

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours' notice so we can offer the appointment time to someone else.

Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged [insert fee or percentage of the session fee]. Most insurers do not reimburse missed-appointment fees.

Custom Orthotics & Braces

Orthotics and braces are made or fitted specifically for you. Once ordered, made, or fitted, they cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty or do not match what was prescribed.

If something doesn't feel right or there is an issue, please let us know, and we will look into it.

Results Vary

Every person reacts to treatment in their own way, and although we support your recovery, we can't guarantee a specific result or time frame.

Your Responsibilities

Please provide accurate health information, let us know if anything changes, stick to your home programme, arrive on time for appointments, and show respect to our team and other patients.

Privacy

We handle your personal health information in accordance with Ontario's health privacy law and our Privacy Policy.

Liability

We provide care according to the professional standards that apply to our regulated practitioners.

To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for issues that are outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Ontario law.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there.
